You can monitor your computers activity while you're gone with free keystroke logging program and other computer monitoring techniques. Keystroke loggers record all keystrokes including sign in names and passwords. This is a perfect if you want to keep an eye on your child's internet activity or if you want to know what your spouse has been up to on the computer.

Some PC monitoring software can even take periodic screen shots of what is on the computer every minute or couple minutes that the computer is being used. This will allow you to view exactly what the user was looking at and at what time. You could even tell the software to take a screen shot whenever a certain word or phase has been typed out by the user. Lets say you put "dating service" as snap shot keywords, if your spouse or partner types that phrase in, a snap shot of the screen will be recorded which will let you see what site he or she is on.

Viewing the information requires you to log into the Keystroke logger software on the target computer. There you can view typed keywords, a list of websites that have been visited and screen shots. Some programs email the recorded information to an email address that you supplied. This way you can view the computer activity from anywhere and from any computer right in your email box.
